After Man City’s 3-0 victory over Everton and Arsenal’s 0-3 defeat to Brighton, Pep Guardiola’s army is considered to be defending the title.
City need just 3 more points to win the title – despite the fact they only need 2, as their goal difference is much better than Arsenal’s.
Arsenal ‘s next match is against Nottingham Forest this weekend. If Arsenal lose to Nottingham Forest, Man City will win the title. If Arsenal draw with Forest, Man City will only need 1 point to secure the title.
If Arsenal win, Man City will win the title at Etihad if they win against Chelsea. If Man City lose to Chelsea, a trip to Brighton a few days later will be their next opportunity.

Arsenal will need to beat Nottingham Forest and Wolves in their last 2 matches and hope Man City pick up no more than 1 point in their last 3 matches. Man City only need 2 draws to rank above Arsenal due to the goal difference between the two sides.
This is an impossible scenario considering the performance of the two teams. The Gunners have led the table for most of the season but succumbed to the level of the defending champions at the end of the season.
