Sharing on Sky Sports, former player Roy Keane made comments about Antony.
Antony had a perfect response to the criticism when helping Man Utd win against Nottingham Forest 2-0. The Brazil international scored a goal and assist at the City Ground as Erik ten Hag’s side rose to third in the Premier League table.
It was the first goal Antony had scored since October and marked his first Premier League assist since arriving at Old Trafford from Ajax for £85m in the summer.
In his first 35 games for Man United in all competitions, the 23-year-old has eight goals and two assists.

Former player Keane told Sky Sports: “It’s important to score those goals. We have criticized Antony but he has a great desire to perform.
With his virtuoso skill, those are the key moments. To be able to participate in the match, it was a turning point.
We saw the excellence of Antony in the second goal. The players have to do the basics apart from the shots because those are the important moments.”
