Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold appreciates Arsenal’s strength, but admits he was a bit disappointed when the home team won only 1 point. He said: “It was really a very, very great, intense game. I think there are times when both teams play great football.”
“Liverpool didn’t start well, we gave them a two-goal lead. It was a result that no home team wanted, but we showed character, we created many chances and scored two goals. We had a chance to win, but we couldn’t take it.”
“Arsenal are one of the two best teams in the Premier League this season, them and Man City. In every game we want to get three points. It’s a bit disappointing not to have that today, but there are lessons here, that we can fight and have the faith to face a team of the quality like Arsenal.”
