Ten Hag vehemently rejected Weghorst in the penalty shootout

Sportbible shared the incident involving Wout Weghorst and Erik ten Hag in a brainstorming shootout against Brighton.

After 120 minutes of goalless play,  Manchester United beat Brighton with a score of 7-6 in a penalty shootout to win tickets to the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

Casemiro, Diogo Dalot, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Marcel Sabitzer were the first 5 to take on the penalty shootout and they all succeeded. Meanwhile,  Wout Weghorst  took the 6th kick before Victor Lindelof sealed the victory  for Man Utd.

Weghorst attracted attention because  the ‘kiss of death’ moment affected Solly March causing the opponent to spoil. Sportbible also revealed information about this player in the penalty shootout list of the Old Trafford team.
