Son Heung-min apologizes to Antonio Conte

Son Heung-min apologizes to Antonio Conte

This season, Son Heung-min is one of the worst players under Conte’s leadership. He has only scored six Premier League goals since last August, which is one of the reasons Spurs have continued to go through a titleless season.

Most recently, Son Heung-min admitted he was partly responsible for Tottenham sacking Conte, saying: “I am very sorry to Conte as a player. I should have shown my best qualities to help the team more, but I couldn’t.”

“For that, he had to shoulder the responsibility by leaving, and I think I also have a part of the responsibility that led to his dismissal. Now I want to send my best wishes to Conte, I will continue to follow and support him. For the few games left, I want to finish the season well with my teammates.”
