In the match against Atletico Madrid, Barca captain midfielder Sergio Busquets was pulled by the opponent to tear his pants.
The Catalan giants won 1-0 over Atltico Madrid to maintain their La Liga lead with 11 points ahead of Real Madrid. During the match at Camp Nou, Sergio Busquets disputed in the middle of the field with Thomas Lemar of the away team.
The Spaniard grabbed his opponent’s shirt, and the Atletico star reacted furiously, grabbing Busquets’ pants in retaliation. Lemar even tore Busquets’ pants. The Barca captain looked down in shock and had to go out and get a new pair of pants, not forgetting to complain to the referee.
Fans laughed at the situation, with one person writing: “He almost got naked.”

Another joked: “Barca’s kits are made of cheap materials because the club can’t buy better because they are having financial difficulties.”
Busquets is hoping to win a ninth title with Barca in what could be his last season before leaving. The 34-year-old’s contract expires at the end of this season, and he is considering the possibility of leaving or playing at Camp Nou for another year.
Busquets remains an important part of the Catalan side, making 37 appearances in all competitions this season.
