The Austrian midfielder shared his views with BT Sport after the 2-2 draw between Man United and Sevilla.
Regret is a phrase that many Man United fans mentioned after the battle with Sevilla. Erik ten Hag’s teachers and students had a brilliant start with two goals to take the lead after only 21 minutes of rolling the ball. However, the Red Devils lost that advantage at the end of the second half.
In turn, the disastrous goals of Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire caused Man United to concede two consecutive goals. The 2-2 draw left Ten Hag’s teachers and students much more work to do in the second leg rematch taking place a week later.

Midfielder Marcel Sabitzer is Man United’s biggest bright spot against Sevilla. The Austrian star contributed a double goal. Sharing with BT Sport after the match, Sabitzer said:
“I had a hard time finding words to describe this game. It was a roller coaster ride. Man United played well in the first half, had many chances to score. We had to finish the game. But, Man United just there was a final draw. An unsatisfactory result.”
“Man United controlled the game but conceded goals easily. We are not allowed to concede like this. Two stupid goals and that’s not what Man United wanted.”
