Once considered one of the best young midfielders in the world, however, Dani Ceballos ‘ career has not had the desired development, especially after an unsuccessful loan spell at Arsenal.
Returning to Real , Ceballos also did not win the starting position, but he is showing himself as a reliable backup plan in the midfield of Los Blancos and is highly appreciated by coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Sharing on his personal Twitter page, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed, Dani Ceballos will put pen to paper a new contract with Real Madrid in the next few days. This deal will last until 2027 with an improved income for the Spaniard.
Personal terms have also been agreed and it is only a matter of time before Real announce Ceballos’ signature extension. It is known that the former Arsenal player is still only playing a reserve role at Los Blancos but with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric aged, his presence is still important to provide more depth to the coach’s squad. Carlo Ancelotti, besides key players in the midfield like Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde or Eduardo Camavinga.
