According to a report by Fichajes, PSV Eindhoven will demand 50 million euros from Arsenal in the Xavi Simons deal.
Xavi Simons has been a highly regarded player since his days at Barcelona’s legendary La Masia academy. But he decided to leave Spain to join PSG in July 2019. In France, the 20-year-old’s career also did not go well and he joined PSV Eindhoven last summer.

The Dutchman has been explosive this season, contributing to 34 goals (22 goals, 12 assists). Flexible, versatile gameplay becomes Simons’ strength. Besides the role of an attacking midfielder, he can play well on the flanks when needed. His progress easily caught the attention of many clubs, notably Arsenal . If he comes to Emirates, Simons will be a backup for Martin Odegaard. He can also replace Gabriel Martinelli or Bukayo Saka when needed.
At this time, the Gunners have contacted Simons’ representatives. Meanwhile, PSV Eindhoven will demand 50 million euros to part with the 20-year-old player . However, it is difficult for Arsenal that PSG can re-sign Simons for just 12 million euros thanks to a buyback clause.
