Pochettino identifies 3 new contracts at Chelsea

Sources from the Daily Mail revealed that Mauricio Pochettino soon plans to use troops once he arrives at Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino is on track to become the new official head coach of  Chelsea, replacing the current interim FrankFrank Lampard at the end of the season. Pochettino will join Chelsea when the club’s first concern is offloading some players to make the squad more manageable.

The source from the Daily Mail also confirmed that the Argentine ruler has “identified a new goalkeeper, a central midfielder and a number 9 as the top three” positions that he wants to strengthen in the upcoming season. Ideally, the former Tottenham manager wants players with  Premier League experience.

Pochettino plans to shop at Chelsea.

Kepa Arrizabalaga spent most of the season as Chelsea’s No. 1 when Edouard Mendy was injured However, there were still doubts about Kepa’s position as number one goalkeeper for long time, in context Mendy was still not agree to a new contract.

Pochettino is also “expecting to own” a long-term central midfielder alongside Enzo Fernandez with doubts about the futures of N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic.

The lack of  middleweights. is a big problem for  Chelsea  this season. Romelu Lukaku is close to returning from loan at Inter Milan, but it remains to be seen whether he has a future under Pochettino.
