Mourinho was punished by UEFA.

Therefore, UEFA also introduced many crimes for the Italian representative. The latest, UEFA announced: ” Suspended AS Roma head coach, Mr. Jose Mourinho, for the next 4 matches of the European Cup for insulting the referee.”

Roma were fined 50,000 euros and banned from selling tickets to away fans in the next European Cup match for uncontrolled setting off fireworks, throwing objects, causing damage and disturbing the crowd. They paid an additional 5,000 euros for the improper behavior of the players and the coaching staff.

On June 1, Roma lost to Sevilla 1-4 on penalties. In 120 minutes of official play, the Italian representative took the lead, but was equalized by the opponent.

Coach Mourinho was often angry with referee Anthony Taylor during the match, especially when he refused to give Roma a penalty when Fernando let the ball touch his hand in the penalty area.
