Home page RB Leipzig announced that star Dani Olmo has signed a new contract until 2027 . After 122 appearances, the Spaniard owns 21 goals and 29 assists. Olmo will join Leipzig to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Cup final this weekend.
Going back in time, Olmo arrived in Leipzig from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2020. The 25-year-old midfielder quickly integrated and proved his worth in the German team’s shirt.
Olmo is a member of Leipzig who reached the semi-finals of the Champions League 2020, the semi-finals of the Europa League 2022, won the German national cup in the 2021/2022 season.
Olmo’s career is quite impressive in the colors of the Spain national team. The midfielder born in 1998 had 30 shoes on the field, contributing 6 goals. Olmo is a La Roja member who reached the semi-finals of EURO 2020, won a silver medal at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, and reached the 1/8 round of the 2022 World Cup with Spain.
