Midfielder Mikhailo Mudryk admits that he enjoys facing pressures like those at Chelsea at the moment and is determined to prove himself in the coming time.
Mudryk talks about difficulties after joining Chelsea
Last winter, Mikhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea for a fee of up to 89 million pounds. So far, he has only had 1 assist in the Blues shirt.
The Ukrainian player is still trying very hard to adapt and integrate into the new environment. Recently, Mudryk admitted to facing many difficulties. However, he likes to face pressure.
Mudryk shared:
“Honestly, I have to admit that I faced a lot of pressure after joining Chelsea. But this is not the first time I have faced such pressure.
I like to deal with pressure. I want those who mocked me as a failed signing to think again when they see me succeed. Time will tell everything.”

In recent times, coach Graham Potter has tested Mudryk as a virtual striker instead of a winger like his forte. Chelsea’s No 15 is quite amused by this and admits he is working hard to adapt to his new position.
“Playing in this position is quite interesting. But it is easier for me to receive the short ball instead of having to contest in the air. Of course, the coach’s position to play depends on the opponent.
In general, I quite like playing in the position of virtual striker. But in some games, it’s more suitable for me to play on the wing.”
