Speaking after the 1-4 defeat to Man City, coach Mikel Arteta announced Arsenal will make efforts to continue the championship race with the blue half of Manchester.
Arsenal as a guest to Man City’s Etihad Stadium with 3 consecutive draws. The bad results made them lose their advantages in the championship race with the Green Man. And the Gunners’ chance of winning the title is even smaller when they lose 1-4 to the blue half of Manchester.
Mikel Arteta’s team let Man City open the scoring after only 7 minutes, ending the first half they were 2-0 down. In the second half, Arsenal had 1 goal but had to receive 2 more goals. With the defeat at Etihad, Arsenal is still leading the table, but only 2 points ahead of the Green Man and has played 2 more matches than the opponent.

Now Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League this season are very low, but coach Mikel Arteta claims his team will not give up. “The fact that we are competing against a team is unbelievable. We won’t give up. We have to accept that we lost to an excellent team and that’s the difference in terms of class.”
“The team must not fall. Our task is to get up quickly and focus on the next game, while there is still a chance we must not give up.”
