Manchester United reporter Samuel Luckhurst criticized defender Harry Maguire during the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Maguire kept his place in United’s starting XI as Erik ten Hag was without Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane through injuries. The 30-year-old received an early yellow card after a collision with Taiwo Awoniyi, in the end the away team still won 3 points thanks to the goals of Antony and Diogo Dalot.
Luckhurst, Manchester United writer for The Manchester Evening News, gave a live update on the match and did not hesitate to criticize Maguire.

Luckhurst described the centre-back as a dribbling disaster in the first half, feeling he was becoming annoyed in front of the audience. Moments later, Luckhurst said that Maguire was lucky not to take a penalty after the ball hit his hand inside the box.
Maguire lost the ball 13 times, while he only succeeded with 1 in 7 attempts to make the long ball and lost 6 of 12 duels. It was not a disastrous performance, however, as Maguire made seven saves and three interceptions, more than any United defender.
