Liverpool confirm farewell to 11 players

Jack Bearne (21), Liam Hughes (21), Charlie Hayes-Green (18), Oscar Kelly (20), Fidel O’Rourke (21), Oludare Olufunwa (21) and Iwan Roberts (18) have been released .

Goalkeeper Adrian was awarded a new contract. Liverpool also see him as an important member of the club’s goalkeeping team. However, Adrian has only played twice in the last 2 seasons.

Liverpool’s contract extension with Adrian can be considered a safe option in the event Caoimhin Kelleher leaves the club in search of more playing time. Coach Jurgen Klopp still wants to keep Kelleher and wants to receive at least £ 20 million if other clubs want to buy the goalkeeper outright.

Firmino, Keita, Milner and Chamberlain have made a total of 969 appearances for Liverpool. These players have contributed to Liverpool flying high in recent seasons. Liverpool have won seven trophies in recent seasons and it’s well deserved.

The contributions of these players have decreased this season, mainly because of injury problems. Farewell to these players, Liverpool need to find a replacement to maintain squad depth. And The Kop quickly did this when adding an extremely quality rookie to the midfield, Mac Allister.
