Striker Kai Havertz thinks things with Chelsea this season have gotten worse since coach Thomas Tuchel was sacked by the club’s board.

Chelsea’s 2022/23 season can be summed up in two bad words. The Blues have been knocked out of the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
In the Premier League, Chelsea are diving in 12th place in the table and have almost run out of chances to compete for tickets to next season’s European Cup. Kai Havertz recently opened up about a completely failed season for the Blues. In the view of the German striker, Chelsea has lost its position since parting with coach Thomas Tuchel.
Kai Havertz with Chelsea had a bad season.
Kai Havertz shared:
“Things have been really bad for us this season. Chelsea had a rather quiet period of preparation for the new season when they went through the process of changing hands. It was a huge change.
Not long after that, coach Thomas Tuchel was fired. This is really a surprise and we can’t help but be shocked. He brought a lot of success and difference during his time at Chelsea.
Things got worse after that. We are now in a corner after the bad results in the past. It’s very easy to find excuses. But I don’t like to blame anything myself. We’re both professional footballers and we have to figure it out on our own.”
