After reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League 2022/23, AC Milan confirmed to have successfully extended the contract with striker Olivier Giroud.
AC Milan have excellent performances in the Champions League this season. They defeated Tottenham with a score of 1-0 after two matches in the round of 16, thereby meeting Napoli in the quarterfinals. In the first leg match at home, the red and black striped team won 1-0, and recently they got a 1-1 draw on the opponent’s field.
With a score of 2-1 after two matches, AC Milan entered the semi-finals against Inter Milan, who just had a 3-3 draw at home to Benfica in the second leg of the quarter-finals. Although the Portuguese team could not win at home, the score 5-3 after two matches still helped the Italian team continue.

After reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League 2022/23, AC Milan confirmed to have successfully extended the contract with striker Olivier Giroud. Milan homepage confirms: “We are proud to announce that Olivier Giroud has extended his contract with the team. He has been with AC Milan since the summer of 2021, has become an important pillar in the Rossoneri’s attack, played 76 times and scored 27 goals.”
“We are delighted that Giroud has agreed to continue playing for the club next season. He is a good and experienced striker, he will continue to be of great help to the team.”
At the age of 36, Giroud is still devoted and one of the most stable strikers in many years.
