3 of these 4 players will leave Liverpool in the summer of 2023

“Against Aston Villa is Liverpool’s last home game of the season, special thanks go to Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Anfield.”

“Congratulations will also be sent to other club platforms at the end of the season, and we wish Roberto, Naby, James, Alex and their families all the best for the future. All four players will be leaving at the end of this year’s season, and we appreciate and thank them for their contribution to the team.”

Firmino has made 360 appearances for the Reds. The Brazilian joined under Brendan Rodgers in 2015, scoring 109 goals for the club and helping them win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.

Milner has played 330 games for Liverpool since joining on a free transfer from Manchester City in 2015. The 37-year-old is expected to join Brighton this summer. Keita arrived in a £48m deal from RB Leipzig in 2018. He was plagued with injuries and never showed his best at Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Oxlade-Chamberlain has become a forgotten person at Liverpool after consecutive injuries. The former Arsenal star made 146 appearances for the Red Brigade in 6 years. Despite the injury, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been linked with Brighton, Aston Villa and Newcastle.
