According to Metro, Julian Nagelsmann wants to have a “decisive voice” in Tottenham’s transfer activities if he takes the job this summer.
Tottenham just parted ways with interim manager Cristian Stellini on Monday night after a humiliating 1-6 defeat to Newcastle United at the weekend. Ryan Mason was tasked with directing the club until the end of the season.
Spurs are currently looking for the next head coach with former Bayern Munich captain , Nagelsmann, as one of the top names.
Last week, the 35-year-old “strategist” withdrew from the race to become the new Chelsea manager, reports in Germany said he is now seriously considering taking the job at Spurs.

Tottenham are said to still have a lot of work to do to convince him to join the club, with Nagelsmann eager to play a key role in the club’s transfers when he arrives in north London.
Should the Spurs fail to convince Nagelsmann to join, it is reported that Feyenoord’s Arne Slot will be considered their top contender.
Tottenham’s immediate focus will be on keeping their top four hopes alive, their next game being against Manchester United.
