After the match between Bayern and Dortmund, Joao Cancelo went straight into the tunnel instead of staying to celebrate the victory with his teammates.
Cancelo continues to have problems
In Bayern’s easy win against Dortmund, Joao Cancelo was not named in the starting lineup by coach Tuchel. The Portuguese player only entered the field from the 79th minute to replace Alphonso Davies. Within a little more than 10 minutes on the field, Cancelo did not leave much of an impression.
After the match, the former Man City star went straight to the Allianz stadium tunnel without staying to celebrate with teammates and fans. This is not the first time Cancelo has shown his attitude when he is not respected. Before that, the Portuguese player expressed his discomfort many times because he had to be a substitute.
Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is also aware of the above information. However, he was not too concerned about Cancelo’s actions. Salihamidzic said that Cancelo’s reaction is common in all players when not starting.

Cancelo’s future at Bayern is also uncertain. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Bayern will not trigger a €70m buyout clause with Cancelo at the end of the season.
Cancelo is expected to “change his luck” under the new coach Tuchel. However, there are not many signs that the new Bayern coach will use Cancelo regularly. In the near future, the Bayern Board of Directors will discuss with Tuchel about the future of Joao Cancelo.
The German team is said to be dissatisfied with Joao Cancelo’s attitude and ability. This player did not integrate into the Bayern style of play and appeared to be separate from his teammates. Cancelo is also considered one of the players who are dissatisfied with coach Nagelsmann.
