Liverpool signed James Milner from Man City in the summer of 2015. The Englishman won the Premier League and Champions League with the Anfield team. Under Klopp, the player born in 1986 was like a warrior.
James Milner plays in every position when asked by Klopp, from full-back, central midfielder, winger to striker. He also holds the position of vice-captain of the Red Brigade. Milner extended his contract for another year last year after agreeing to a substantial pay cut.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to keep the 37-year-old at Anfield beyond the end of the current season but that is not feasible. A number of teams have negotiated with the former Man City star on a free transfer, including Brighton.
Recently, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed James Milner left Liverpool to land in Brighton. Final proposal and all terms accepted. The contract between the two sides will be valid until the summer of 2024.
Milner will join Brighton on a free transfer from Liverpool and he will become the club’s second signing following the completion of Joao Pedro’s deal. Certainly the English player is not the last name to leave Anfield, Oxlade-Chamberlain or Naby Keita is also planning to part with the Port City team.
