Man City and Real Madrid drew 1-1 in the semi-final first leg of the Champions League.

Jack Grealish shared:

“It’s really been a tough game. Going against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu is never easy. We fought hard and I’m proud of that. I’ve never had cramps before. but after this match I felt pain in both calves.

Real Madrid defended so well and we were lucky to get a goal from a long shot. After that moment, we broke down.

Compared to last year, Man City now has many changes. We have new elements, a balance between experience and youth in the squad. Man City have learned a lot since losing to Real Madrid last year. We have never felt so confident.

Man City to the Bernabeu with the goal of winning. But the draw is not bad, especially when we scored a goal here. That shows our bravery. We’ll be back at the Etihad in the second leg, where we feel like we’ll be unstoppable. Everything is still ahead.”
