In an interview with GMS, journalist Dean Jones talked about one of the Gunners’ rumored targets.
According to Football Insider, Arsenal is monitoring the case of striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the Everton side and may find a way to create a surprise push to own the British national striker.
The Gunners need to enhance the quality of the attack in the context that the club has already secured a place in the Champions League next season. Therefore, with Everton in danger of relegation, the Emirates Stadium team believes that they can completely own Calvert-Lewin without spending a lot of money.

However, according to journalist Dean Jones, the Gunners currently do not have many reasons to recruit the Everton striker because they have a lot of options in the middle position.
Revealing to Give Me Sport about the possibility of Arsenal making this deal, Jones said:
“Calvert Lewin has really been considered, that’s the target Arsenal have been eyeing for a few years now. But because they now have Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah and Leandro Trossard are also used in that role, in addition to Balogun. also back in the summer, so it’s hard to see why Arsenal are spending money on him.”
