Via Fotbolskanalen, Mjallby AIF midfielder Otto Eric Rosengren admitted he was shocked to learn that Man United were pursuing him.
There are some of the most exciting young midfielders that have made their mark in Scandinavia in recent times. Rosengren has shown the potential to follow in the footsteps of Eintracht Frankuft’s Jesper Lindstrom or Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus.

According to the director of Mjallby AIF, Hans Larsson, Man United sent scouts to watch Rosengren live. And the Sweden Under-21 international is delighted to hear that his progress is being noticed.
“It’s great to hear that news,” Rosengren told Fotbolskanalen. “And it shows that you’re doing something well.
The interest of Man United was quite strong. But then, of course, you can’t think about it when you’re playing. And thinking about it, that’s a big thing.”
Rosengren, who can play in central midfield or on the left wing, has been described by Mjallby head coach Anders Torstensson as a great talent, with a confidence ahead of his age.
The 19-year-old added: “I didn’t know that Man United were here, I didn’t even know they had come to Strandvallen. I was shocked when I read that news. They said Man United were watching me. I was a bit shocked.”
