How did MU lose the ‘bargain’ of 34 million euros to Real?

Eduardo Camavinga’s masterclass before Manchester City will make those who have pursued him regret.

The only way City found to stop Camavinga was to foul him. In total, they fouled the young player four times, more than Vinicius was fouled. Camavinga finished the match with the same level of energy he showed in the first minute.

At the age of 20,  Camavinga is the youngest player to win all 6 titles at Real, completes his collection with the Copa del Rey win over Osasuna. The Frenchman looks set to become a club legend at the Bernabeu, and things could have been different had he nodded to another offer.

Camavinga is on the way to becoming a Real legend.

Starting to stand out with Rennes as a 16-year-old in 2018, Camavinga has shown performances beyond his age to attract interest from Europe’s elite, including Manchester United, but the player This youngster gave up everything to go to Real, the team that bought him for about 34 million euros.

At that time, the young star said, “Honestly, the first factor was not money, but the joy of realizing a dream that I had since I was a child. When I knew that I could sign a contract. With Madrid, I didn’t think much.”

In 2021, although  Man United  enjoyed an incredible transfer window when they recruited Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho  along with the return of  Cristiano Ronaldo, they did not strengthen in midfield.

The midfield has been the weak point of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s army for a while and he wants to fill this position in the summer. Declan Rice was a prime target, but budget constraints prevented them from reaching him. Then, Rennes’ teenage prodigy Camavinga emerged as a potential replacement because, unlike Rice, he was in the final year of his contract in France and was sold cheaply.

Camavinga is unlikely to leave Real.

Man United were interested in the 18-year-old player but never showed the determination, because it was clear that he wanted to move to Spain. Camavinga got his wish and completed a £27.9m move to the La Liga giants.

Now, when looking at  Camavinga’s performances for Real Madrid, the Red Devils must be regretting such a quality star when he has not reached the highest level, although as said,  Camavinga has always dreamed of wearing a shirt. White vulture. But if they try harder, affecting other factors, MU still has a chance and obviously they should have tried.

This season Man United have made quality additions to the midfield but Erik ten Hag is still looking for a face to suit his taste, Frenkie de Jong and Declan Rice are the names that are often mentioned. As for  Eduardo Camavinga, he is simply a Real Madrid player not for sale.
