On his personal Twitter, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal: “Çağlar Söyüncü has signed a contract with Atletico Madrid, here we go!”
“The agreement was agreed in January and it is now closed as the Turkish midfielder will join Atletico in the summer as a free agent. Söyüncü’s contract will be valid until June. 2027,” added Romano.
