Ex-Chelsea star shines, Juve strengthens position

Young star Samuel Iling-Junior has just left a big mark in Juventus’s important match in Serie A.

Samuel Iling-Junior  scored his first Juventus goal in his first Serie A start, becoming the third English player to score for the Bianconeri.

The 19-year-old has made several appearances from the bench but this is the first time he has been included in the starting line-up for the trip to Atalanta.

It was a decision that really paid off, as he was the one with an impressive solo, winning the ball back to start moving, finishing from close range early in the second half.

Iling-Junior scored the key goal for Juventus.

A graduate of the Chelsea Academy,  Iling-Junior became the third English player to score in Serie A for Juventus after David Platt in 1992/1993 and William John Jordan in 1948/1949.

Minutes 90+8, Dusan Vlahovic scored one more goal to set the result 2-0. Juventus is in 2nd place in the table, 5 points ahead of the 5th team, AC Milan, thereby keeping the advantage in the fierce battle for tickets to C1 in the Italian league. Meanwhile Atalanta missed the chance to take Milan’s place.
