Eden Hazard has suggested that he is still not ready to retire after leaving Real Madrid, the Belgian star is still receiving many offers.
Eden Hazard has agreed to terminate his £400.00-a-week contract with Real Madrid 12 months early, now he is a free agent. Several teams in Belgium and the MLS are following the former Chelsea star and are ready to make offers.
After parting with Los Blancos, some sources said that the player born in 1991 considered retiring. Hazard received plenty of applause from his former Belgium teammates and fans at the King Baudouin Stadium as Belgium drew Austria in Euro 2024 qualifying.
When asked about the welcome he received from fans and former national team-mates, Hazard told RTBF: ” It makes me happy. The warm welcome shows how much I have accomplished for the national team. The team was unable to get the win. It’s frustrating, I want to help my former teammates but unfortunately, I can’t.”
When asked about the next step in his career, Hazard replied: “Honestly, I still don’t know. After 3 complicated years, I just want to spend time with my family, go on vacation, like everyone else. I’ve read a lot of things over the last few days, and it’s all incorrect.”
“We will see in the next few days. I still feel like I have the potential to be a professional footballer. I still have some energy left.”
