Via GMS, journalist Dean Jones said that Man United has a great opportunity to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Man United need to add more firepower to the attack before the summer transfer window of 2023 closes. The Guardian reported earlier this month that the Red Devils have dropped out of the race to sign Harry Kane , due to Tottenham Hotspur’s hefty bid for the England international.
Now, the Old Trafford team is forced to find backup plans, and Juventus’ Vlahovic can be considered by Erik ten Hag.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Dean Jones said: “There are signs that Vlahovic could leave this transfer window. This is a great opportunity for the teams.
He is a powerful goalscorer. If United continue to look for someone and have really moved away from Harry Kane, a deal with Vlahovic could be possible. According to the information I have, Juventus will consider if they receive an offer of around 65-70 million pounds for Vlahovic.
Chelsea have also been heavily linked with him. Vlahovic would be a great striker to add competition and appeal to the Premier League.”
Vlahovic is only 23 years old this year, has scored 95 goals in 220 appearances.
