Raphael Guerreiro has agreed to join Bayern Munich on a free basis after his contract with Dortmund expires.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Raphael Guerreiro has agreed all personal terms with Bayern. He will soon have a medical examination before signing a contract with the German champion until the summer of 2026.
With the arrival of Guerreiro, Bayern will terminate Daley Blind’s contract . The former Man United player arrived at the Allianz Arena earlier this year but has only made four appearances. After this season, Blind will become a free agent.
Guerreiro is the top full-back in the Bundesliga. Last season, the Portuguese international played 35 matches and made a strong impression with 6 goals and 13 assists in all competitions. In addition to the position of left-back, Guerreiro can also play well in the role of a central midfielder.
Before accepting to join Bayern , Guerreiro was interested by a number of big clubs, including Man City. However, the star born in 1993 decided to stay and compete in the German league.
Earlier, Dortmund announced the farewell to another pillar, Jude Bellingham. The defending German runner-up sold the midfielder in 2003 to Real Madrid for 103 million euros, plus 30 million euros in additional fees. This is the second most expensive player sale in the history of Signal Iduna Park, after Ousmane Dembele to Barca for 140 million euros in 2018.
