Legend Didier Drogba has voiced criticism of boss Todd Boehly’s decision-making ability.
Didier Drogba thinks Chelsea have changed in a downward direction under Todd Boehly. Drogba believes that the American boss focuses too much on young players and makes the squad bloated with too many rookies.

“I no longer recognize my club. It is no longer what it used to be. There is a new boss and a new vision. Of course, we always try to compare with what happened under the Abramovich era, when a lot of players were brought in but the decisions were made very smart.
They brought in players like Petr Cech, Andriy Shevchenko, Hernan Crespo, Michael Essien, Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda and I could list many more. The result is winning titles. These are players with certain experience. The strategy is different now. We bet on young players. But a dressing room with more than 30 players would be difficult for a manager to manage.”
Drogba also believes that Chelsea are lacking a leader to move the team in the right direction.
“You need players who are ready to take the challenge in the game and see it as their responsibility. You need a player who brings a bit of madness to the stadium.”
