Sources from the Daily Mail confirmed that midfielder Declan Rice is likely to land at Emirates this summer.
Mikel Arteta identified Declan Rice as one of the priority targets in midfield during the summer transfer window. However, Arsenal have not been able to reach an agreement with West Ham .
The Gunners ‘ two offers have so far been rejected, the latest being £75m upfront plus £15m in extra fees, well below West Ham’s £100m valuation.

Against this backdrop, City expressed a strong interest in signing Rice and have made an offer to West Ham. The Citizens clearly showed their determination to flip this deal.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the midfielder is open to any potential move, as long as a club closes a deal with West Ham. However, Rice still preferred joining Arsenal.
According to the Daily Mail, Rice hopes to join Arsenal this summer. The English midfielder is interested in Arteta’s project at the Emirates, and he will also play in the Champions League next season.
In addition to Rice, Arsenal also accelerated the completion of two deals Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber this week.
