Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano assesses that Manchester United’s target Diogo Costa will be quite expensive.
At the moment, Man Utd is looking for a new goalkeeper, in the context of goalkeeper David De Gea’s contract expiring on June 30.

According to MailOnline, the Red Devils have identified FC Porto’s Diogo Costa as a long-term replacement for De Gea. He is valued at £65m by the Portuguese team and currently earns a salary of £24,000 per week.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano assessed this as a rather complicated business for Man Utd because its price was too expensive.
Romano told GIVEMESPORT: “I think if De Gea stays, it’s complicated to get a goalkeeper like Diogo Costa because he’s very expensive. So they need a number two goalkeeper to create competition rather than a second player. a number one goalkeeper.”
Costa has 14 caps for the Portuguese national team. Last season, he made 41 appearances for Porto, conceding only 30 goals and keeping 20 clean sheets. Costa’s impressive form has helped Porto get a double title in the domestic league.
