According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners succeeded in pushing away one of the team’s excesses.
Specifically, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Arsenal received £6 million for Pablo Mari, when the player’s loan deal with AC Monza was activated with a buy-out clause.
Personal terms are said to have been agreed and Romano confirms the agreement is “completed and signed”.
Monza must buy Mari on loan from Arsenal, subject to a number of conditions. One of them is that Monza avoided relegation, and now, in theory, they are safe and can stay in Serie A.

Another condition is that Mari must play a certain number of matches. Despite an injury in August and surgery in October, Mari really hasn’t missed too many games for Monza this season.
He has up to 27 appearances and the season has 5 more matches to end. The only thing that could make a deal impossible is the player not agreeing on personal terms with the new club.
However, Mari is comfortable in Monza’s shirt and wants to continue to contribute to this club.
