According to The Athletic, defender Ben Chilwell has reached an agreement to extend his contract with Chelsea for another two years, until the 2026/27 season ends.
Ben Chilwell commits future to Chelsea
The old contract between Ben Chilwell and Chelsea is still valid until June 2025. Recently, the English player has received attention from many big teams, especially Man City.
Coach Pep Guardiola highly appreciates Ben Chilwell. He wants to bring the 1996 defender to Etihad in the near future.

In that context, Chelsea actively negotiated to “bind” Ben Chilwell. Everything went well. According to The Athletic, the two sides have reached an agreement to extend the contract.
The 27-year-old defender will sign a new contract until the end of the 2026/27 season. Details of the terms of the new contract have not been disclosed. However, the number 21 defender will certainly receive a salary increase after extending his contract.
Ben Chilwell joined Chelsea in the summer of 2020 from Leicester for £50 million. He made a great contribution to helping The Blues win the Champions League 2020/21.
Although at least 2 times with serious injuries and a long-term break, Ben Chilwell later came back strong. At the moment, the English defender is still the number one choice in the left wing of Chelsea.
