Chelsea bid farewell to 12 players but Lukaku stays

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea could part with up to 12 stars in the first team this summer, but Romelu Lukaku is not included in the liquidation list.

The Belgian striker returned to Chelsea in a £97.5m deal two years ago from Inter Milan, but he disappointed and returned to Inter on loan last summer. Lukaku wants to stay at Inter, but the Serie A team cannot meet the amount that the Blues want.

Havertz and Mount could leave Chelsea while Lukaku stays

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are delighted to work with Lukaku again next season. New manager Mauricio Pochettino is set to bring the striker back to Stamford Bridge. Lukaku has scored 10 goals in Serie A last season, he is said to be part of the plans of the former Tottenham manager.

Also according to the British newspaper, Chelsea can bid farewell to 12 players in the first team. Mateo Kovacic is negotiating with Man City. Mason Mount wants to join MU, while Kai Havertz has been linked with Real Madrid. Chelsea demand £50m for Conor Gallagher, while N’Golo Kante is out of contract and set to move to Saudi Arabia.

Other players who could leave are Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy. While Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also likely to leave after negotiating with AC Milan. Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ian Maatsen and Nathan Baxter, who spent last season on loan, are expected to find a new club.

In the opposite direction, Chelsea are interested in Moises Caicedo from Brighton. They will have to spend £ 75 million for this deal.
