Arsenal have difficulty in the transfer of Kai Havertz
Arsenal recently jumped into the race to sign Kai Havertz. Coach Mikel Arteta highly appreciates the talent of the German striker and believes he is a quality addition to the Gunners squad.
Just like the case of Real Madrid before, Chelsea expressed their willingness to sell Kai Havertz in the summer of 2023. However, the Blues only accept to release people if they receive 70 million euros (equivalent to 60 million pounds).
This number makes Arsenal difficult. The Gunners think that the price offered by Chelsea is too expensive and is not willing to spend the above amount.
In the near future, Arsenal will try to negotiate to convince Chelsea to lower the price. But if the Blues continue to be tough, it is not ruled out that The Gunners give up this deal to turn to other more suitable targets.
Kai Havertz’s future at Chelsea is currently unknown. Since coach Thomas Tuchel left Stamford Bridge, the German player has faced many difficulties. He constantly had to kick the striker to the left of his forte and played ineffectively. Kai Havertz’s contract with Chelsea is still valid until 2025.
