Newcastle legend Kieron Dyer thinks Antonio Conte was right when he spoke about Spurs’ players after the terrible defeat to Newcastle.
After the disappointing draw against Southampton, coach Antonio Conte criticized the Tottenham players in front of the media. “We’ve had a bad month,” he said. I’m not used to seeing this kind of situation. I see a lot of selfish players and don’t see a real team. We have 11 players on the pitch. But the players don’t want to help each other and don’t put their heart into the game.”
It is not known if these comments led to his dismissal, but since Conte’s departure, the London team has been performing worse and worse. Tottenham have just lost 1-6 at Newcastle’s field in a very decisive match to the race to the Top 4.
