Conte speaks out after leaving Tottenham
Coach Conte has officially said goodbye to Tottenham when the season enters the sprint phase. Harsh statements after the draw with Southampton was said to be the last straw, causing the belief of Tottenham’s BLD in Conte to reach the bottom and the two sides moved to terminate the contract.
On his personal Instagram page, the Italian coach spoke out about the separation of Spurs. Specifically, Conte wrote: “Football is my passion. Parting Tottenham ahead of time, Conte received compensation worth £ 4 million from the English team. Previously, this coach received a compensation of £ 26.6 million from Chelsea after being sacked by this team in 2018.
Currently, Tottenham has not added a coach to succeed Conte. It is known that assistant Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason will be the two interim coaches of Spurs until the end of the season. Stellini was in charge of Tottenham during Conte’s absence following gallbladder surgery in February.
