Alex Iwobi has confirmed that his national team-mate Victor Osimhen has ambitions to play in the Premier League.
Victor Osimhen is becoming the target of many big teams, including MU. The Red Devils are in need of a new striker in the context that Anthony Martial is constantly injured and Ronaldo has left on a free transfer.
The Red Man scouts are closely following the player born in 1998, who has scored 25 goals in 29 appearances for Napoli, including four in the Champions League. The striker’s contributions helped Napoli lead Serie A and reach the quarterfinals of C1.
Most recently, Alex Iwobi has confirmed that his national team-mate, Victor Osimhen, has ambitions to play in the Premier League. Iwobi told The Beautiful Game Podcast: “He worked so hard to get where he is today. He is one of the mainstays of Napoli.”
“Obviously Osimhen is still young, and with such good form, it is understandable that he is interested in many teams. I don’t know which Premier League club he will join, but in fact he asked me about the Premier League.”
“He also confirmed that one day he wants to play in the Premier League, I think he will arrive in the league in the near future. Obviously, the top flight in English football is the best, so I’m sure he has ambitions to play in the Premier League.”
